Happy CNY. I seriously need “兔”气扬眉 thanks. =)

The last entry's from MY. Back then she's still on exchange. Now she's home and the blog's still frozen. What's everyone been up to? I've been mugging, as usual.

The other time we had dinner with Mr Ang in HK, I met our C2 Math tutor Mr Ng (oh right the FB friend recommendations hahaha) and was reminded that the guys who went to NS - which is majority - will be back to the rat race soon. WELCOME BACK GUYS!

Time flies... maybe. Well, seniors will tell you that time flies, cherish uni life, blah blah, but to me, life in uni is worse than 十八层地狱. It's been crawling by slower than tortoise and yet workload has been so heavy that I end up entering the exam hall (for all 5 sems that have passed, mind you) knowing only methods of working problems rather than understanding the theories behind it. But then again that's real Math for you - get used to ways of doing things, get it done, and move on. Laugh over it every now and then, not forgetting to embrace new challenges.

In order to pump some O2 to this blog, I shall repost something that I've put on FB before. Oh beloved FB, our distraction from blogging.

And for those who're already in the rat race, keep going... Keep going...

"50 Things"

Dear Class of 2010,

This will be my last entry written specifically for you; beginning with the launch of our new site in early September, I'll begin focusing on the future class of 2011. I hope that you guys won't be strangers; stay in touch either in person (come visit us!) or online (please drop by the blogs from time to time and say hi).

As you begin your college experience, and I prepare for my 10-year college reunion, I thought I'd leave you with the things that, in retrospect, I think are important as you navigate the next four years. I hope that some of them are helpful.

Here goes...

Your friends will change a lot over the next four years. Let them.

Call someone you love back home a few times a week, even if just for a few minutes.

In college more than ever before, songs will attach themselves to memories. Every month or two, make a mix cd, mp3 folder, whatever - just make sure you keep copies of these songs. Ten years out, they'll be as effective as a journal in taking you back to your favorite moments.

Take naps in the middle of the afternoon with reckless abandon.

Adjust your schedule around when you are most productive and creative. If you're nocturnal and do your best work late at night, embrace that. It may be the only time in your life when you can.

If you write your best papers the night before they are due, don't let people tell you that you "should be more organized" or that you "should plan better." Different things work for different people. Personally, I worked best under pressure - so I always procrastinated... and always kicked ass (which annoyed my friends to no end). ;-) Use the freedom that comes with not having grades first semester to experiment and see what works best for you.

At least a few times in your college career, do something fun and irresponsible when you should be studying. The night before my freshman year psych final, my roommate somehow scored front row seats to the Indigo Girls at a venue 2 hours away. I didn't do so well on the final, but I haven't thought about psych since 1993. I've thought about the experience of going to that show (with the guy who is now my son's godfather) at least once a month ever since.

Become friends with your favorite professors. Recognize that they can learn from you too - in fact, that's part of the reason they chose to be professors.

Carve out an hour every single day to be alone. (Sleeping doesn't count.)

Go on dates. Don't feel like every date has to turn into a relationship.

Don't date someone your roommate has been in a relationship with.

When your friends' parents visit, include them. You'll get free food, etc., and you'll help them to feel like they're cool, hangin' with the hip college kids.

In the first month of college, send a hand-written letter to someone who made college possible for you and describe your adventures thus far. It will mean a lot to him/her now, and it will mean a lot to you in ten years when he/she shows it to you.

Embrace the differences between you and your classmates. Always be asking yourself, "what can I learn from this person?" More of your education will come from this than from any classroom.

All-nighters are entirely overrated.

For those of you who have come to college in a long-distance relationship with someone from high school: despite what many will tell you, it can work. The key is to not let your relationship interfere with your college experience. If you don't want to date anyone else, that's totally fine! What's not fine, however, is missing out on a lot of defining experiences because you're on the phone with your boyfriend/girlfriend for three hours every day.

Working things out between friends is best done in person, not over email. (IM does not count as "in person.") Often someone's facial expressions will tell you more than his/her words.

Take risks.

Don't be afraid of (or excited by) the co-ed bathrooms. The thrill is over in about 2 seconds.

Wednesday is the middle of the week; therefore on wednesday night the week is more than half over. You should celebrate accordingly. (It makes thursday and friday a lot more fun.)

Welcome failure into your lives. It's how we grow. What matters is not that you failed, but that you recovered.

Take some classes that have nothing to do with your major(s), purely for the fun of it.

It's important to think about the future, but it's more important to be present in the now. You won't get the most out of college if you think of it as a stepping stone.

When you're living on a college campus with 400 things going on every second of every day, watching TV is pretty much a waste of your time and a waste of your parents' money. If you're going to watch, watch with friends so at least you can call it a "valuable social experience."

Don't be afraid to fall in love. When it happens, don't take it for granted. Celebrate it, but don't let it define your college experience.

Much of the time you once had for pleasure reading is going to disappear. Keep a list of the books you would have read had you had the time, so that you can start reading them when you graduate.

Things that seem like the end of the world really do become funny with a little time and distance. Knowing this, forget the embarassment and skip to the good part.

Every once in awhile, there will come an especially powerful moment when you can actually feel that an experience has changed who you are. Embrace these, even if they are painful.

No matter what your political or religious beliefs, be open-minded. You're going to be challenged over the next four years in ways you can't imagine, across all fronts. You can't learn if you're closed off.

If you need to get a job, find something that you actually enjoy. Just because it's work doesn't mean it has to suck.

Don't always lead. It's good to follow sometimes.

Take a lot of pictures. One of my major regrets in life is that I didn't take more pictures in college. My excuse was the cost of film and processing. Digital cameras are cheap and you have plenty of hard drive space, so you have no excuse.

Your health and safety are more important than anything.

Ask for help. Often.

Half of you will be in the bottom half of your class at any given moment. Way more than half of you will be in the bottom half of your class at some point in the next four years. Get used to it.

In ten years very few of you will look as good as you do right now, so secretly revel in how hot you are before it's too late.

In the long run, where you go to college doesn't matter as much as what you do with the opportunities you're given there. The MIT name on your resume won't mean much if that's the only thing on your resume. As a student here, you will have access to a variety of unique opportunities that no one else will ever have - don't waste them.

On the flip side, don't try to do everything. Balance = well-being.

Make perspective a priority. If you're too close to something to have good perspective, rely on your friends to help you.

Eat badly sometimes. It's the last time in your life when you can do this without feeling guilty about it.

Make a complete ass of yourself at least once, preferably more. It builds character.

Wash your sheets more than once a year. Trust me on this one.

If you are in a relationship and none of your friends want to hang out with you and your significant other, pay attention. They usually know better than you do.

Don't be afraid of the weird pizza topping combinations that your new friend from across the country loves. Some of the truly awful ones actually taste pretty good. Expand your horizons.

Explore the campus thoroughly. Don't get caught.

Life is too short to stick with a course of study that you're no longer excited about. Switch, even if it complicates things.

Tattoos are permanent. Be very certain.

Don't make fun of prefrosh. That was you like 2 hours ago.

Enjoy every second of the next four years. It is impossible to describe how quickly they pass.

This is the only time in your lives when your only real responsibility is to learn. Try to remember how lucky you are every day.

Be yourself. Create. Inspire, and be inspired. Grow. Laugh. Learn. Love.

Welcome to some of the best years of your lives.

Back from Berlin :) Pretty nice, but not enough time to explore a lot of places. I bought super lots of chocolates!!!!!!!! OMG HAHA. MORE TO GO IN SWITZERLAND. Give you guys when I'm back! :) I'm just wondering if my luggage would be overweight again :(

I know a lot of people are wondering and asking why I can travel during school. School has started but I only have lessons on Wed, Thurs and Fri, so I can travel from Sat-Tue ;) However, this is not always the case cus I sometimes miss lessons :P Must start real studying soon! Anyway textbooks here are super expensive! Double the prices in SG! Everything is sooo expensive here except for milk and cheese and eggs and smoked salmon and fruits.

I'm going to Norway soon - to see the fjord! Super super super super pretty place! Go google images!!

Let me know if you guys want me to help buy anything! And GZ, I cannot find the waffles as of now (I think they are in Netherlands) and for maggi instant noodles, do you mean the instant pasta sauces?? I only see those kind.

Sorry... Another post by me... To business/ finance people out there...

Regarding callable bonds again. Since I typed the following to XY, might as well post it up...

Cus T(typing) = sunk cost.

In the following paragraphs, YTC = yield to call; YTM = yield to maturity.

Analysis on the basis that YTC less than YTM => call at the earliest possible date.

Here, note the derivation of the YTC. It's already based on the assumption that the issuer works to the worst disadvantage of the investor, i.e call the bond at the earliest possible date since that would act to the least benefit to the investor. To further explain that, if the bond can be called between t years to n years (maturity), our calculations are based on the assumption that it will be called after t years, so YTC is calculated by setting P at today's selling price equals to cash flows from years 0 to t.

So let me emphasize again that the value of YTC is already based on the earliest possible date the bonds can be called and that the issuer cannot call any date earlier than that. (In fact, the earlier the bond is called the lower the yield rate of the investor.)

Somewhat a repetition of the previous post, just that YTC is brought to light here.

Sorry for having 2 posts in a row. But I think the following may be useful to classmates doing finance-related stuff. =) A little something I was discussing with XY~ Just for your information when you need it.

A callable bond is a bond which the borrower (issuer) has an option to redeem prior to its maturity date.

The investor should assume that the borrower will exercise the option to the disadvantage of the investor.

Given that the redemption value on all redemption dates are equal (note that we're taking an assumption here):

1) If i less than g or P greater than C, redemption date will be the earliest possible date.

2) If i greater than g or P less than C, redemption date will be the latest possible date.

(zzz damn irritating... somehow the greater than/ less than signs are rejected by blogger due to conflict with html code... zzz... !@#$%^&*)

If the redemption values on all the redemption dates including the maturity date are not equal, then it may be necessary to take some trial calculations at the various possible redemption dates to see which is the most unfavourable to the investor.

Some actuarial symbols here:

i = yield rate, yield to maturity, yield to redemption

g = modified coupon rate where Fr = Cg (F = nominal value, par value, face value; r = coupon rate, nominal yield; C = redemption value. Here, please also note that F != C)

P = price of the bond

C = (as mentioned above)

Earliest possible date here isn't disputable, and should be specified by the bond issued.

And here, the reason why I emphasized that the "investor should assume that the borrower will exercise the option to the disadvantage of the investor" is because the investor is the passive party. Pay special attention that the issuer is the one who would finally decide when to redeem the bond and it may not be the "earliest possible date". Therefore, as a third party, when we analyse such cases, we should take special consideration to the risk the passive party faces.

Heys, we have a long weekend this week so do all of you want to go out for a class outing on saturday? Considering some of you might only be released on friday itself, let go out on saturday instead of friday. Now, to choose the venue:

1. Singapore Zoo- entrance fee is $18. We can spend a whole day there coz it closes at 6pm, and we can have lunch there also. Haven't gone there since P3...

How to get to the zoo:

(By Bus)
From the City, take bus service 171 to Mandai Road, then alight at the first bus stop and transfer to bus service 927 or 926 (operates only on Sundays and Public Holidays).

2. Jurong East Swimming complex- dunno how much time we can spend here, they've got a wave pool, a river where we can float along, slides and all. Entrance fee is $2. As for how to get there, we'll find out more later.

3. Escape Theme Park- yeal...same old games, but trying them again once in a while and as a class may be a different experience. Entrance fee is around $17.70. Easy to get there.

4. Pulau Ubin- go there for a short cycle, enjoy the short boat ride and drink coconut water. :) Nice to be outdoors.

Now, take your pick. Do sms me your choice, or any other place you're thinking of going that are not listed here. Hm...can tell me by thursday? thanks.

Heys..want to go become usher for the NDP together? it'll be fun:

We are pleased to inform you that Heartware will be assisting NDP 09 EXCO in training and managing the volunteer ushers for the parades and we like to invite you to be part of this annual event.

We are currently accepting application for Volunteer Ushers. Please refer to the attached factsheet for more information. You can sign up for the activity "Volunteer Ushers for NDP 09" on Youth Bank (www.bank4u.org) and the Youth Planning Committee will follow up with the necessary procedures shortly. Application closes on 3rd May 2009.

DUTIES
Heartware volunteers have to take on several different duties over the 5 parades. Their
assigned duties will be dependent on the requirements upon execution.
Their duties include:
· Checking of tickets
· Ushering ticketed spectators from City Hall area to the seats in the seating gallery
· Interacting with the audience and provide assistance whenever necessary
· Going to (and returning from) primary schools to accompany the Primary 5 students to
the seating gallery during NE shows

PRE-REQUISITES
We are looking for youth volunteers who are:
1. Aged 16 years and above
2. Able to work independently
3. Willing to learn new skills and meet new people
4. Able to commit for all the training sessions and the 6 shows
(Please refer to Page 2 for the tentative schedule)
Note: Applications from Non Singaporeans/PR will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval from NDP EXCO

Heyhey, this is a poem (about the significance in the seemingly insignificant dash) a teacher showed when I was in primary school. I find it meaningful..... so somehow, I still remember the essence of it and like it a lot ^^ Hope all of us have meaningful "dashes" :)

LIFE BETWEEN THE “DASH”

I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the beginning...to the end.

He noted that first came her date of birth
and spoke the following date with tears,
but he said what mattered most of all
was the “dash” between those years. (1934 -1998)

For that dash represents all the time
that she spent alive on earth...
and now only those who loved her
know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own;
the cars...the house...the cash,
what matters is how we live and love
and how we spend our “dash”.

So think about this long and hard...
are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left,
that can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
to consider what's true and real
,and always try to understand
the way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger,
and show appreciation more
and love the people in our lives
like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect,
and more often wear a smile...
remembering that this special “dash”
might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy's being read
with your life's actions to rehash...
would you be proud of the things they say
about how you spent your “dash”?

Become facilitators for cyclethon!

Hi all, Zoe asks if you all want to become a facilitator for an overnight cyclethon. Pls tell her asap(best by tonight) if you want to take part in it, since I think it's most probably our first time cycling overnight and that most of us are having holidays now. :)

Details:
There will be 2 facilitators attached to every group of around 8 participants. Currently, we have around 130 participants who have signed up. We will be cycling from ECP to VivoCity, going to places like Bedok 85, Geylang, Lau Pa Sat etc to stop for supper. Total distance is around 70km.

Recce dates are 20 Mar and 4 Apr, from 8pm to 8am. It is compulsory for all facilitators to attend both recces. CIP hours will be given if requested and facilitators need not pay for anything. You will be given a Certificate of Participation and T-shirt. Costs of bicycle rental will be borne by us.

'You've got to find what you love,' Jobs says

This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005.

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.

The first story is about connecting the dots.

I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?

It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" They said: "Of course." My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.

And 17 years later I did go to college. But I naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as Stanford, and all of my working-class parents' savings were being spent on my college tuition. After six months, I couldn't see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The minute I dropped out I could stop taking the required classes that didn't interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.

It wasn't all romantic. I didn't have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends' rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. Let me give you one example:

Reed College at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. Because I had dropped out and didn't have to take the normal classes, I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating.

None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, its likely that no personal computer would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.

Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

My second story is about love and loss.

I was lucky — I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation — the Macintosh — a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.

I really didn't know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me — I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.

I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.

During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT, I returned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple's current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.

I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.

My third story is about death.

When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.
Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn't even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months. My doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctor's code for prepare to die. It means to try to tell your kids everything you thought you'd have the next 10 years to tell them in just a few months. It means to make sure everything is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. It means to say your goodbyes.

I lived with that diagnosis all day. Later that evening I had a biopsy, where they stuck an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach and into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. I was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that when they viewed the cells under a microscope the doctors started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. I had the surgery and I'm fine now.

This was the closest I've been to facing death, and I hope its the closest I get for a few more decades. Having lived through it, I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept:

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960's, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.

Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graduate to begin anew, I wish that for you.

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

5.55am: wake up b4 the phone rings, stone for 5 min then phone ring.

6.30am: go downstair for bus, 171 is a dulan bus, chiong for a seat and get a slp

7.05am++: change song....change to songs like 音浪 to make me awake........ Arrived at classbench, typical 1st words I start my day: F*&(, eh F&*$, wtf, gns, then cope seat. coping seat is hard, must find a seat tat is not directly opposite or besides the loving birds. If I am siting, most likely I will talk abt theory dota........ or niao those ppl doing gp homework and disturb others from doing their homework. If I am standing, most likely I will niao someone white hair, niao zw, ask xw where is eric, disturb others from doing their hw again. What ppl are doing in early morning from my view: cg slp, jackson slp, jx slp, zabo mugging, someone emoing, some 2 loving, others either copying or nuahing, and junior theory dota ing.

7.18am: go for flag raising, finding a place to stand is hard, you must find a place tat is not too front, not too back, not besides zabo, not besides XXX and XXX.... after flag raising, chiong to classbench for seat.

7.30am: zabo all disappeared....... guys still continueing wad r they doing just now.
7.45am: leave for lecture or tutorial, from J2 onwards I leave earlier to cope better seat......

Lecture: cope seat is a skill, you must find a seat tat is not obvious when you slp and nt below aircon and nt beside XXX and XXX and XXX and esp those 2 cause sitting beside them really makes you no mood to pay attention. Also better not sit beside gals, if sometime realli bobian, I thk sit beside zw still can lar.... I usually get stuck between jd and someone or beside jx. After get a seat, we will start to niao those ppl sitting besides zw or Jean.............All lectures are the same because.......... I will slp...... Typical lecture type: gals paying 1200% attention. yuen 倒了 from the start, then javis 倒 then jackson 倒 then sometimes jx cg blah blah blah all dao. So most of the time I sense alot of ppl slping around me and I feel the sleeping aura.... I must well also slp...... When I am awake, I will start to niao white hair or talking dota or asking jx gt wad gp hw or telling jr she must well use a brush to highlight.... sometimes dun-know-who passes the sweets around....

Tutorial: Find a good seat in tutorial is also a skill, you must find some seat tat is not besides XXX and XXX and gals and esp those 2 cause sitting beside them really makes you no mood to pay attention. What I do in the following lessons:

PE: I have little memory abt wad I did in PE lessons...... I just remember I nv see Javis for PE, ok only once, last PE lesson, he ask me wad are we supposed to do during PE and then he zao......

zzz until now I still dun understand y gals copying notes like siao while the guys are just listening.... for example Jean's 雪山飞狐 notes on the book blank spaces or between the lines or on the posts-its or she stuck some A4 paper folded inside the book are enough to compile another book liao.......

Break: rush for canteen, buy food , find a seat. Finding a seat is hard........ again....... you must find a seat tat is not beside XXX and XXX and esp those 2 cause sitting beside them really makes you no mood to eat. Sit down and start niaoing everyone sitting or attempt to sit beside zw or Jean. Fast eaters: me and jx, jackson is always waiting at the classbench for bridge so must not make him wait so long, see I am so kind.... Actually yg is the fastest because he disappeared b4 you realised it....... At classbench, repeat wad we are doing b4 flag raising + play card + copy homework. Most of the gals disappeared, gana kidnapped by alien to mug? sometimes we start to niao those doing GP homework.......

After school: Guys go back to class bench and repeat what they are doing during the break except the sleep part, most of the gals disappeared, I thk their mother told them must reach home b4 3pm or else take away their freedom of mugging? RJ's gate lock time is earlier I guess, cause one time math is the last lesson, I saw her walking at the bridge to the bus stop while I and still packing my bag. Ppl in a relationship also disappeared. I play card until you sian or not enough player then zao. Usually take bus wif jx, and most of the usual times he pangseh. zzzz "I dun wan friend jx le lar" , he pangseh ppl, he nv pick up call, he dao sms......wad else he can do......... Also, sometimes you nd to avoid taking bus wif juniors......... they are.....just weird. One like to look at the beautiful scenery outside the bus...... and another one like to cut nail infront of her bf?!?!
